- Introduction
-
- Reveal is a simple desktop puzzle designed for use in educational
- establishments (it was designed for a school in Dumfries).
-
- Using Reveal
-
- To load a picture, you can either drag a sprite file (which should have
- a sprite called "revsprite" in it) or Reveal's own sprite file - a
- Revpic (Type &0F9). A window will open up, and you click on a square to
- remove it. The object of the game is to guess what the picture is. The
- main menu contains an option "Choices". This opens up the choices window
- which allows you to change the grid size by clicking on a size then
- clicking on OK (or Save if you want the change to be saved). Reveal
- supports Acorn's !Help and MessageTrans, so it can be customised for
- other languages.
-
- RevPics
-
- Reveal has its own sprite file type - RevPic (&0F9) - which it will load
- automatically if double clicked on. To covert Sprites to and from
- RevPics, load the Spr-Rev application (supplied with Reveal) and drag
- the Sprite or RevPic to its icon.
-
- Reveal is Shareware. This means that after a period of THIRTY days you
- must either register it or stop using it. To register it, fill in the
- registration form at the end of this document and send it with TWO
- pounds, a blank disk and an SAE to the address on the registration form.
- The "register as" section is the name you want the program to be
- registered to (e.g. your name or your company's name). You may freely
- copy the unregistered version (this one) but NOT the full registered
- version. If you run a PD or Shareware library, you may use distribute
- this as long as you do not remove or change ANY files, and contact me
- first to obtain the latest version.
